Guy Peellaert worked on this album cover, but we doubt that he predicted how big it would be. The version of the RCA release was not meant to come out. The label reportedly felt nervous after seeing the lower part of the dog at the back and airbrushed it. Employees took off with the original copies. In 2003, one made its way to eBay and was sold for $3,550. We bet it is even worth more now!

Don’t you think that it is incredible that you can get $4,00 for this classic by The Beatles? Of course, this is only true if your copy has the black and yellow label tag of Parlophone Records. You might as well check if the catalog number is PPCS 7088. If this checks out, you have the very rare UK export edition!
