Any 13-year-old who came through the doors to see her had a new opportunity to create an impact, and she felt like she was wasting it. The day was nearly over; she came back, relieved, to her car. She assured herself that a new day would be tomorrow at least, as she carefully scrubbed it in the sink and hung it to dry.

But, instead of purchasing new clothes, she decided to bring the best use out of only one item, one dress, that she already had. And then, she pushed herself for 100 days to wear it. She thought seriously of what dress she might wear before launching the challenge. It required, after all, to be flexible enough to make the whole experiment work. In the project, the fabric of the dress also played an important role. So how was she doing that?

Elizabeth selected a plain tank dress from a company called Wool&, to start with. There are four common styles of wearing the dress itself: like a V-neck, like a crew neck, with a tie, or without. The fabric helps it dry easily, so the next morning, it will wear when it’s cleaned. It’s made of 49% ultra-soft merino fiber, 33% lyocell TencelTM, and 18% nylon. You can wear it every season due to its unique mixture.

We enjoy adding pieces and discovering different stuff to wear to our lists. It is part of our regular norm. But for such an existence, we have known what the cost is.

To make it better, things have to improve – or at least to begin making things better. But what should be achieved to evoke reform was the biggest question?
