The proud patriots in the picture below really wanted to make a statement in their prom, so rather than wearing a traditional floor-length dress and a suit-and-tie, they showed off their admiration and love for the Land of the Free. It is illegal to cut up the flag, so they used alternative materials in making the overall look which would make a July 4th fanatic shout for joy. In case you missed it, the name of a former POTUS is on the suit jacket.

Unlike some other gowns on this list, this seems to work more – or at least, we thought so until we noticed the eyes that stare back. Just imagine making your way on the dance floor and finding a pair of massive, turquoise eyes staring at you – we bet anyone would be terrified! What’s more, the tinsel-like bottom gives this dress a look that resembles a mop, which is probably not the look this girl was going for.
