Christina Haberkern was looking for the perfect companion for the family’s handicapped Labrador. This was how she found Marty. Apparently, their pet Zoe was the one who pulled her toward Marty. The two dogs wagged their tails, touched their noses, and had an instant connection. Without a doubt, they found the next addition to their family!

On the left, you can see the photo of Suki on the beautiful day she was adopted. The photo on the right was taken nine years after that. Clearly, she had no idea what was going on in the first photo, but a lot has changed over the years. Her mom said, “Suki has been a major support for me, especially for my mood disorders. Suki has been with me since freshman year of high school.”
