A Wild Ride
Alan Hale Jr. being able to make it to the audition for Gilligan’s Island is a wonder in itself. Why, you may inquire? To start with, he started by hopping onto a horse from a Utah set he was on. Then, he got to Las Vegas, Nevada by hitchhiking. That is not all! Obviously, from that point he needed to ride a plane to Los Angeles so that he could come to his audition. No one else could be the Skipper, thus, we’re so thankful for the miracle!
