BERN NADETTE STANIS (THELMA), 64 YEARS OLD
Bern Nadette Stanis launched into stardom back in the 1970’s after she portrayed Thelma Ann Evans on the CBS sitcom Good Times. The African-American viewers of the show aspired to follow in her footsteps back then! After the show ended, Stanis would only star in TV shows such as The Cosby Show, The Love Boat, and The Parent Hood. Although she does occasionally make guest appearances in various projects, she has largely retired from acting as she wished to direct her focus on her family. It is also worth mentioning that she is a great writer, and she released a 2006 non-fiction book called Situations 101: Bern Nadette Stanis.

We are sure you remember Tippi Hedren from her stellar performance in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. Apart from her personal acting chops, you might also know her for producing some wonderful progenies. Her daughter is none other than Melanie Griffith and her grandchildren include Stella Banderas and Dakota Johnson! Those are some amazing genes, we must say. Hedren might have retired from acting some time back, though she did make small appearances. Nowadays, she gives more attention to launching fundraising campaigns for various charities and her niche happens to be wildlife preservation.
