Jason Ritter – Tex Ritter’s Grandson
Parenthood and Joan of Arcadia’s breakout star Jason Ritter got his affable good looks from his dad, the late John Ritter. Jason also takes after his grandfather Tex, who was an artist in country music and later went into character acting in western films in the 1930s. In addition to his movie and music careers, Tex was also known for helping to establish the non-profit organization United Cerebral Palsy.

Alia Shawkat – Paul Burke’s Granddaughter
Alia Shawkat is well-known for portraying the character Maeby Fünke on the sitcom Arrested Development, but not so many people know that she is the granddaughter of Paul Burke, the award-winning actor. Burke, who seemed to have passed on his sly grin to Shawkat, had appearances on many TV shows as well as in films such as Valley of the Dolls and The Thomas Crown Affair. In 2009, Burke passed away because of leukemia.
