Back in 2014, Shelton and Stefani appeared on the show before they even became a couple. Why do you ask? It’s because both of them were coaches for the seventh season of the popular talent show The Voice. This is also Stefani’s debut on the hit American talent show too!

Stefani also coached in further runs of The Voice (particularly seasons nine, twelve, and seventeen). But it was her time on season seven that showed her and Shelton together on screen for the first time. At the time, Stefani was married to Gavin Rossdale of the band “Bush”. They were married for 13 years until Stefani filed for divorce in August of 2015.
