Oil Or Grease Fire
Did you know that some fire extinguishers have baking soda in them? Baking soda reacts with the heat to produce carbon dioxide which smothers and extinguishes fire. Meaning that baking soda can be used sometimes to extinguish small oil and grease fires. However don’t expect baking soda to put out large fires. Those absorb more oxygen and can counter the effects of baking soda. When in doubt, call for help.
